Giving Priorities
The Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation’s giving priorities are aligned with the future goals of PCRMC, ensuring that monies donated to Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation are used to support critical medical services and health education. Read below to discover our current giving priorities and learn how you can help.
PCRMC Health Care
- The Breast Center Mammography Fund: Provides women with screening mammograms at no cost for those who qualify.
- The Joy of Caring Cancer Fund: Provides financial assistance to cancer patients who have difficulty managing their daily activities. This fund also provides for capital needs surrounding cancer services.
- Where the Need Is Greatest: Provide Phelps County Regional Medical Center with the flexibility to support programs and services as appropriate throughout the year.
- The Heart-2-Heart Fund: Provides free heart health screenings, educational materials and assistance with cardiac rehabilitation fees for patients at Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
- The Patient Transportation Program Fund: For patients who have no other means of transportation to and from medical services. The program has logged over one million miles since its inception.
- Nursing Education Fund: Provides scholarships to Phelps County Regional Medical Center’s licensed nursing professionals who are pursuing advanced education to enhance their current role or prepare them for a future position. This fund will also be used for education/development as identified.
- Smile Mobile Fund: Supports a mobile dental clinic that provides care to any child who qualifies
- Hospice Fund: Helps support the Phelps Regional Homecare Hospice Program
- The Baby Steps Fund: Assists patients and/or the department with education, breast feeding bras, breast pumps, small equipment, peri-natal loss and bereavement and other needs as identified.
