PCRMC maintains six main operating rooms for inpatient procedures and a number of advanced outpatient procedures. Our main surgery rooms are located near the East Entrance of the hospital. Surgeons and support staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. PCRMC Surgery Services has complete laparoscopic and open procedure capabilities. Surgical specialties include:

Endoscopy
Our Endoscopy team provides sophisticated capabilities normally found only in large metro facilities. PCRMC has been utilizing high definition endoscopy for more than four years. Unlike some facilities that provide high level disinfection of scopes, PCRMC has always insisted on full sterilization of each and every scope. Your safety is our primary concern. Our surgeons and staff are trained to provide advanced gastrointestinal procedures, just a few of which include:

  • ERCP
  • Halo (treatment for Barrett’s Esophagus)
  • Bravo PH
  • Capsule Endoscopy

Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU)

Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy
The Ambulatory Surgery Unit, located in the PCRMC Medical Office Building, specializes in short, same day procedures. Our goal is to provide the best in care while getting you back on your feet again. The ASU regularly ranks in the top 10% of all hospitals nationwide in patient satisfaction. The ASU also provides full sterilization of scopes rather than high level disinfection as used by some facilities.

The ASU provides the same quality care provided throughout all of Surgical Services. Some specialties performed in the ASU include:

  • Diagnostic and screening endoscopy
  • Ear, nose and throat (ENT)
  • Podiatry
  • General outpatient surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Dental surgery
  • Outpatient GYN

Pain Management
Acute or chronic pain used to be something that patients had to live with. Advancements in pain management have brought a variety of treatments that provide some relief to patients who suffer from serious pain. The ASU pain management team provides a number of state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional procedures to help isolate and treat the source of pain.
